Shadow & Flame, first novel the The Goddess Chronicles: a fantasy novel set in an original world of elves and necromancy and cloak-and-dagger players. The world is on the brink of war between the Northern and Southern kingdoms, a division that goes back to the beginning of time. Chapter Five excerpt here.
Time & Tide, first novel in an unnamed trilogy: the second fantasy novel set in my original world, one thousand years after Shadow & Flame. The Southern Kingdom has enjoyed a time of peace, but sinister forces are moving in the capital.
As a person I am creative, optimistic, imaginative and intuition-driven. I am a mother, a lover, a bookworm and cat lover. J.R.R. Tolkien is and always will be my favorite fantasy writer–I’ve been reading his work since I was ten and can speak both forms of Elvish. (Mae govannen, boe peded!) Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I love Italian food and quick, witty dialogue. I frequently listen to Blind Guardian, In Extremo, Loreena McKennitt and Missy Higgins. I am eternally curious and always learning. Life is a journey, and a beautiful one.
